I started in the pool industry as an intern in the customer service department at a company called Zodiac Pool Systems doing technical support right out of college. They are one of the top three pool equipment manufacturers in the US and the global leader in the World with their portfolio of brands. I assisted dealers in technical issues they encountered with our products finding them a solution. I was hired on as a permanent in technical support and soon moved on to lead of my group for the SE region. A few years later I was promoted out of the office and into the field as Service Manager of West Florida. This is where I mastered my skills. I traveled the West Coast of Florida from Pensacola to Marco Island overcoming the most complex scenarios first hand. I would meet with builders, service companies, and designers to help spec jobs, lay out plumbing, electrical, equipment, flow demands, automation integration, etc. to help them master their goals they set with the customer. I would assist on the most high end well done jobs and see them perform over the years flawlessly with minimal issues and I would see the worst of them as well, done improperly with lack of knowledge or craftsmanship and the ongoing problems that ensue from it. After a few years as service manager I was promoted to sales manager expanding my market in SW FL. This is where I learned pairing the right equipment to the pools needs for homeowner satisfaction. Owning a Pool can be easy with little effort and no problems if it is installed, setup, and programmed properly to how the consumer uses it. I left the corporate world with advanced knowledge of the manufacturing, installation, and service aspects of pool equipment and pools to start The Pool Marshall, LLC. I will be a professional focused on the customer's experience.
